IMPORTANT MILITARY INFORMATION
Branches of the military require a student to earn a traditional diploma for acceptance. Once a student has successfully passed the GED® and earned a High School Completion Diploma, he/she may not transfer that completion diploma to a traditional diploma and consequently run the risk of losing the military opportunity.
Some branches of the military may consider acceptance of a GED® recipient if a minimum of 15 credits are earned at an accredited college or university. It is suggested that students check with a recruiter for specific regulations.
